Assign Asset to Employee

Below are two simple ways to assign an asset to an employee in Asset Connect.

Assign asset to employee from asset edit

1. Click on the Assets tab on the left menu bar.

2. From the list, find the asset you wish to assign to an asset holder and click the corresponding edit button.

3. The asset edit form will appear. In the Asset Holder field, select your desired employee.

4. Click Save.

By clicking on an asset in the list page, you will see all details relevant to the asset, including the current Asset Holder and all previous assignments pertaining to that asset.

Attach asset to employee from employee's detail page

1. Click on the Asset Holders tab on the left menu bar.

2. From the list, click on the name the employee you wish to assign to an asset to.

3. Under the Assets window, press the Attach Asset button.

4. An attach asset form will appear. In the Asset field, select the asset you wish to assign to this employee then complete the remainder of the form.

5. Click Save.

The asset you selected will now be included in the list of assets assigned to that employee.
